Simele Shange has been in the entrepreneurial space for over 10 years, starting in primary agriculture with involvement in feedlots and abattoirs and further up the value chain by owning a butchery. This led me to the food space where I opened up a traditional food restaurant that was adversely affected by the pandemic. We then open up Jozi Cloud Kitchens in March 2020 and had our first facility open up a year later. We now own what is South Africa’s biggest ghost kitchen startup, with a 655 square meter, 10 kitchen facility housing over 15 restaurant brands and a 160 square meter virtual food hall, that includes sit down and pick up options, that will be facilitated by our software partners, orderB4.
